About the Author
Krishna Reddy is Professor of Art and Artist in Residence at New York University. A sculptor and printmaker, he has lived and worked in both the U.S. and Europe. Reddy, born in India, was educated in India and the West. He has worked in the studios of Henry Moore in England, Marino Marini in Italy, Ossip Zadkine in Paris, and Stanley William Hayter’s Atelier 17 in Paris, where he first began to develop his unique printmaking technique.

This book was suggested by long time friend of mine Bill Ritchie, retired art professor from the University of Washington, as well as designer and maker of the wonderful Mini Halfwood Etching presses. I had never heard of Krishna Reddy but now I am a real fan of his prints. This book is an excellent book with plenty of experiments using a plethora of hand an machine tools to make marks on copper and zinc plates.
great technical art book for printmaking enthusiasts, but be aware if you buy from amazon - this is not an original edition, it's one of those print-on-demand jobs. It's fine for text, but the print quality is poor, especially for the illustrations and photos. For an art book, that's kind of a shame.
