I just started reading Samantha Christy books, and I like them. I’m backwards, I started with the Stone Brothers and I am not disappointed at all. Chad or Thad as known by his fans is an actor. Mallory is forth grade school teacher. They have been friends since she was six years old. Now all grown up and life happens but there love remains the same. Lots of love, laughs, suspense and drama. Excellent story.
I liked how Chad and Mallory were friends long before they became lovers. Their childhood friendship formed a bond that even circumstances couldn't break. There was also an element of forgiveness there that showed just how mature both Chad and Mallory had become. They didn't just hop into the sack once they started dating and that showed their commitment to making the relationship work this time. As per most books, there are factors that try and come between them but they come out stronger in the end. A great read with a HEA.
There wasn't much of a plot. A love story that nothing big happens. Sure it's nice to see the romance. But from the get go they love each other. There is not much build up.
There are 3 books in this series- In this book the main characters are Chad (thad) and Mallory. He stood up for her when he was 7 and she was 6. She has been in love with him since. He moves away when he is 16 and it breaks her heart. Chad becomes a star and his stage name is Thad- At an awards ceremony he sees Mallory. He tracks her down to see if their love is still there. I definitely recommend this 3 book set.
It was a little dragged out. But enjoyable and good laughs.I would never want to be involved with a movie star, too much hassle. I guess they worked it out because of the ending. Very nice sexy scenes, not too much , not too little. I could have used a tad more though! Nice family and the Rules book and the Doctor books were most enjoyable.
This was a beautiful second chance romance for Chad and Mallory! They had loved each other since they were seven and six, respectively. Distance, time, fame, fortune, growing up, and making serious mistakes has caused a wide rift between them, Thad/Chad sees Mallory in a crowd and thinks she's there to see him and he decides it's time to find out if there can be more between them, everything they have both secretly wanted since they were kids. They decide to take a chance on finding love together, despite the many odds they face. Love does find a way!
Wow! This was a great book. It has it all, romance, a little mystery, laughter, tears, betrayal. Mallory and Chad have a difficult road to each other but the reader enjoys all of it. Think I am in love with the Stone brothers!
Samantha Christy is an excellent contemporary romance author. How could I have missed reading anything she has written until now! I have her on my favorites list now. Great emotionally charged story with believable characters with a good story to tell.
